Hartlepool United announce first batch of pre-season fixtures ahead of new National League season
Hartlepool United has announced the first batch of pre-season friendlies.
Hartlepool United has revealed the first six friendly games of their pre-season schedule ahead of the new National League campaign.
While Pools fans eagerly await news of the first summer signings, there are at least some fixtures to look forward to with the squad set to return to training later this month. Lee Clark’s side will face local sides Seaton Carew, Redcar Athletic, Spennymoor Town and Hebburn Town in July, it has been confirmed, away from home before the visit of League Two sides Grimsby Town to the Prestige Group Stadium on Saturday, July 25 (KO 3pm) and Fleetwood Town a week later on Saturday, August 1 (KO 3pm).
A club statement read: “Hartlepool United can confirm the club’s opening four pre-season fixtures ahead of the 2026/27 season, with Lee Clark’s side set to begin preparations for the new campaign with a series of away matches across the North East.
“Pools will travel to Hornby Park to face Seaton Carew on Saturday 11th July (Kick-off: 3pm), with the hosts set to compete in the Northern Football League next season. The squad will then make the short trip to Green Lane to take on Northern Football League side Redcar Athletic on Tuesday 14th July (Kick-off: 7pm).

“Lee Clark’s side will then travel to National League North outfit Spennymoor Town at The Brewery Field on Saturday 18th July (Kick-off: 3pm). Pools will conclude the opening series of away fixtures against Hebburn Town at Hebburn Sports & Social Ground on Tuesday 21st July (Kick-off: 7pm), with the hosts also competing in National League North.”
The club statement added that ticket information and details for each fixture will be announced in due course, with further games to be announced.
