Pools were set to travel to the Silverlake Stadium on Tuesday, December 15 (7pm kick-off) after the initial tie on Saturday, November 14 was called off at half-time due to a waterlogged pitch.
Now, the fixture will have to be rescheduled once again as Eastleigh confirmed that they have had a positive COVID-19 test at the club.

The Spitfires squad will now enter a 10-day period of isolation meaning their upcoming fixtures against Wrexham, Halifax Town and Pools will have to be rescheduled.
National League rules state that in normal circumstances, a fixture must be completed within 40 days of the originally scheduled date, meaning the sides would have until Christmas Eve to complete the tie. But due to the extenuating circumstances and the busy festive schedule, it is likely that some leniency could be given.
A statement issued by Eastleigh read: “Supporters that have purchased tickets for our home fixtures against Wrexham and Hartlepool will be able to use them for the rearranged games when we know the rescheduled dates. If you are unable to attend, refunds can be processed.
