The 23-year-old American, Marlon Fossey, has recently silenced any reports of a potential move to Rotherham United. Currently on loan from Fulham to Bolton Wanderers, the Trotters had been hoping to secure Fossey’s contract for the upcoming season however Fossey has since taken to Twitter to put a stop to any rumours. The England goalkeeper Nick Pope is said to be close to signing with Newcastle United, preparing to undergo a medical. Pope has spent the last six years with Burnley but will now be hoping to stay in the Premier League as his England career progresses.
