Here's what our Hartlepool United writer Robbie Stelling made of the Pools players after they battled to a second successive goalless draw over the Easter weekend.

1. Nick Hayes: 6
It's testament to how well his side defended that the 26-year-old hardly had a save to make all afternoon. Survived one nervous moment when Dan Moss headed against the woodwork from close range after he misjudged Tarryn Allarakhia's deep cross. Still has a lot of work to do if he's to convince Pools fans he's the answer in-between the sticks, but deserves credit for keeping back-to-back clean sheets after shipping seven at Wealdstone last week. 2. Jack Hunter: 8
Slotted into a back three seamlessly, impressed with his reading of the game and kept Mani Dieseruvwe quiet throughout. Would have liked to see him be a bit more expansive with his passing at times and he isn't as aerially dominant as someone like Tom Parkes, who was left on the bench after limping off late on against Scunthorpe, but hard to find too many faults from another assured showing. 3. Maxim Kouogun: 8
Was almost caught out a couple of times, once when he allowed a hopeful ball forward to bounce just before half time and again when he had his pocket picked by Devante Rodney in the second half, but was excellent other than that. Having been so poor against Wealdstone, has bounced back with superb showings against Scunthorpe and Dale and must rank as a possible player of the season contender. Photo: Frank Reid

4. Cameron John: 8
Showed his versatility with an impressive showing on the left of a back three and caused some problems going forward thanks to a series of purposeful attacking runs, even if he might have made more of a couple of promising positions in the second half. Photo: FRANK REID
