Here's what our Hartlepool United writer Robbie Stelling made of the players after Pools moved to within striking distance of the top seven by getting one over on promotion-chasing Carlisle United in midweek.

Impressed with his purposeful passing and delivery from set-pieces. Photo: Frank Reid
10. Tyrese Sinclair: 9
Absolutely outstanding. Scored one of the goals of the season, his third in two games, and gave full-back Jack Ellis the runaround all evening. Gave his all for his team with and without the ball. Photo: Frank Reid
11. Alex Reid: 8
Would still like to see a little more from him in terms of his hold-up play - by his own admission, he's still adapting to the lone striker role - but scored a fine goal at an important time in the game. Photo: Frank Reid
12. Adam Campbell: 6
Worked hard for his side after coming on without making too much of an impact in possession. Photo: Frank Reid
