Another order for a firm which is building up a great track record in the offshore industry


The subsea cable supplier, which is owned by the TFKable Group, has agreed a contract for the Moray East offshore wind farm off the coast of Scotland.
JDR will test 100 array cables and two offshore substation interconnector cables in a deal which adds to an order which is already being handed in Hartlepool.

Hide AdWhile JDR is making 124 miles of cables as well as accessories in its state-of-the-art facility in Hartlepool, the latest deal will involve workers from the JDR Service Team in Newcastle.
"Neil Brown, Head of Services at JDR, said: “It’s a testament to the sheer hard work and diligence of our offshore teams who continue to produce high service levels for offshore projects such as this one.”
The latest work includes providing technicians, tooling, and test equipment with work due to start in November this year and continuing until mid-2021.

Hide AdAnd in 2018, it won a contract by McDermott for the world’s largest offshore oilfield, the Safaniya project, owned and operated by Saudi Aramco.
JDR has recently celebrated its 10th anniversary of its Hartlepool base.
