Extra screenings of All Rivers Spill Their Stories to the Sea added in Hartlepool due to demand
Extra screenings of a major documentary highlighting the struggle of Hartlepool fishermen have been added due to popular demand.
All Rivers Spill Their Stories to the Sea by filmmaker Jeanie Finlay is in cinemas nationwide now.

It features the plight of Hartlepool’s inshore fishermen, including Stan Rennie, whose livelihood has been devastated since major crab and lobster die-offs in 2021.
Vue in Hartlepool is not showing the film, but a special screening with Stan and Jeanie is taking place at the Town Hall Theatre on Sunday, November 15.
The film will be shown at 4pm with a Q&A at 5.45pm, followed by another screening at 7.30pm.
It has received praise from numerous critics including the BBC’s Mark Kermode who called Jeanie “a brilliant documentary maker”.
All Rivers Spill Their Stories to the Sea has just won the Audience Award at the Paris Science Film Festival.
