Hartlepool home transformed into Halloween Circus of Horrors after dad and kids start work in August
Halloween fans are in for a real treat as a Hartlepool house has gone all out to give visitors a fright this year.
Pete Noble and his three children have transformed his front drive and garden into the stuff of nightmares.
They have been working on this year’s scary Circus of Horrors display in Talland Close, at Clavering, since August.
Hundreds of families are expected to take in the shocking spectacle, dubbed Terror on Talland, this Halloween on Saturday which raises money for the town’s Alice House Hospice.

Visitors can expect creepy clowns, a frightening fortune teller, spooky sideshows and a real life jack in the box sure to give visitors a fright.
Pete, 46, said: “It started out just for my kids and each year it got a little big bigger. I started working on it earlier and earlier and now I start prepping in August.
“It’s become a real family commitment, with the children out on the drive helping to build and bring it all together.
“My eldest is only 14 and has been helping me for years. My youngest, now 10, pitches in too.

“They put their own time and enthusiasm into creating something special for other families while supporting our local hospice.
His neighbours join in too and help collect money.
Pete added: “We dress up and take on characters for the night, and family friends now join us too, giving their time to help bring the display to life.
“Together, we create an immersive Halloween experience for the trick-or-treaters, with costumes, characters and plenty of surprises.”
As the size of the display has grown, so too have the number of families and children coming to marvel at it.
Last year, nearly 900 people visited and helped raise over £1,100 for Alice House Hospice.
Pete said: “I thought if we’re going to get that many people the hospice might as well benefit. They’ve helped loads of people from my family over the years including my mam.”
The display has been created entirely from scratch and is all self-funded, but Pete said he has been blown away by support from numerous local businesses with free materials, all keen to help the cause.
All are welcome.
