Where are they now? The Hartlepool United squad relegated from the Football League
A 2-1 win over Doncaster Rovers on the final day of the season couldn't save Pools from relegation from League Two, as the club dropped into non-league for the first time in their history. The stopper swapped Pools for Motherwell after the club were relegated from the Football League - and remains at the club now. He has also established himself in the Northern Irish international side.
The ex-Fulham youngster stayed with Pools for their first season in the National League - but turned down fresh terms last summer in order to join Motherwell alongside Carson.
Harrison remained with Pools following relegation, but was released last summer. He subsequently joined Falkirk before being shipped out on loan to Spennymoor Town - where he remains today.

A promising youngster, Walker joined Crewe after leaving Pools before later making the switch to Shrewsbury. He has spent most of this season on loan at Wrexham - where injuries have curtailed his progress.
One of the club's longest-serving players, Magnay remains at the Super 6 Stadium - although his future is up for debate this summer with his contract set to expire.
Ex-Chelsea and Leeds midfielder Woods only departed Pools earlier this season, which much-chronicled interest finally ending in a move to Harrogate Town before the turn of the year.
One of only a handful of players remaining at Pools from the side that suffered relegation, Featherstone is keen to remain at the club with his contract set to run its course this summer.
Along with Featherstone, Hawkins is still a Pools player. He has been out of favour this season, though, and is currently on loan at Spennymoor Town aiding their promotion push.
Having departed the Super 6 Stadium after Pools' relegation, Alessandra joined Notts County - with whom he has just been relegated from League Two once again.
The young forward stayed with Pools during their first season in non-league, but was released at the end of the 2017/18 season. He later joined Morecambe in League Two.
After leaving Pools, Amond has gone on to enjoy a fine stint at Newport County where he has continued his free-scoring ways while also earning international recognition.
The midfielder remained a Pools player until the end of last season - having spent time on loan with Dover - and joined Wrexham after leaving Hartlepool.
Having scored both Pools' goals against Doncaster, Rodney remained with the club last season before turning down a new deal to make a surprise move to Salford. He was recently shipped out to Halifax on loan.
A graduate of the Pools' youth set-up, Simpson was sold to Preston North End midway through last season. He remains at Deepdale, but has been sent out on loan to Hyde United and Carlisle this term.
