'Anyone got a number for an open top bus company?': Hartlepool United fans aiming high after FIVE new signings revealed

After seeing their 2019/20 campaign come to a premature end after the National League season was curtailed, it’s been a quiet few weeks at Victoria Park as Dave Challinor looked to assemble his squad for the new campaign.

But that all changed on Saturday, August 1 – when no fewer than FIVE new arrivals were confirmed.

Loan trio Mark Shelton, Gary Liddle and Timi Odusina have all put pen to paper on permanent stays after impressing during their temporary stints at the Vic, while winger Josh MacDonald and forward Rhys Oates have also signed for Pools.

And the arrival of the quintet let supporters delighted, with some already planning their promotion parties!
