Middlesbrough have completed the signing of Amario Cozier-Duberry.
Middlesbrough have completed the signing of exciting Brighton forward Amario Cozier-Duberry on a season-long loan.

Cozier-Duberry has agreed a new contract until the summer of 2029 and will spend the season on loan with Middlesbrough, it has been confirmed.
Brighton’s sporting director Mike Cave said: “Amario had an excellent year with Bolton Wanderers last season and was one of the standout players in the league helping them to promotion. He’s had a very good pre-season with the first-team, that alongside his form last season meant there was significant interest in signing him on loan this season.
“That interest and his new contract is a reflection of his attitude, ability and hard work; now we look forward to watching him continue his progress in the Championship this season.”
The 21-year-old joined Brighton from Arsenal in July 2024, spending the season on loan with Blackburn Rovers, before joining Bolton last summer on loan.
What have Middlesbrough said about the signing?
A Boro statement read: “Exciting forward Amario Cozier-Duberry has joined Boro on a season-long loan from Brighton & Hove Albion. The 21-year-old arrives fresh from a breakout campaign with Bolton Wanderers, who he helped to promotion to the Sky Bet Championship last term.
“Cozier-Duberry's deadline day move makes him Boro's 11th signing of a busy summer window, after the Teessiders beat off competition from a host of other clubs for his signature. An Arsenal Academy graduate, he joined Brighton in the summer of 2024 and has spent the last two seasons out on loan, first with Blackburn Rovers and then Bolton.”
Meanwhile, Fin Cartwright has joined Grimsby Town on a season-long loan. The midfielder is set to bolster his senior experience with the Sky Bet League Two side, having made two first-team appearances so far for Boro.
