The January transfer window has three weeks left to go, and while it's been slow going thus far, the action is likely to ramp up in the coming days as the pressure grows for clubs to secure new signings.

Middlesbrough fell at the first hurdle to see their FA Cup run end last weekend, as Neil Warnock's side lost 2-1 to divisional rivals Brentford, despite having 23 shots to the Bees' nine.

Boro will look to bounce back this weekend, when they play host to Birmingham City in a Saturday lunchtime kick-off.
