Lee Clark makes one change as Hartlepool United prepare for Worthing test
Lee Clark has named his Hartlepool United starting eleven for Saturday’s home game with National League rivals Worthing.
Lee Clark has opted to make one change to his starting eleven for Saturday lunchtime’s home game with Worthing as his side look to bounce back from suffering five defeats in their last six National League fixtures.
Jack Hunter was ruled out of the game as he serves a one-match suspension following the red card he received in the midweek defeat at Altrincham and that has forced Clark into a rejig of his backline. Cam John replaces the Pools skipper as he makes his first start since a 1-0 defeat at FC Halifax Town earlier this month.

Max Kouogun, Corey McKeown, Max Merrick, Owen Hampson and Luke Charman all remain on the sidelines and Neo Eccleston serves the second game of the two-match ban he received for being shown his second red card of the season in last week’s defeat at Kidderminster Harriers. Campbell Darcy is named amongst the Pools substitutes after he was recalled from a loan at National League North club Spennymoor Town.
Hartlepool United: Fisher, Benn, John, McNally, Ilunga, Miley, Harris, Sheron, Nolan, Gibson, Deeming Subs: Smith, Penman, Darcy, Thornton, Popov, Bondo, Hugill
Worthing: Seymour, Colbran, Moore, Ransom, Waller, Adjetey-Brew, Wadham, Aguiar, Young, Hutchinson, Kendall Subs: Cook, Packham, Boddy, Smith, De-Graft, Nathaniel-George, Marquez
