Delays after runaway van collides with three cars on A181 at Wingate
The A181 is currently closed westbound after a van broke away from a vehicle towing it and smashed into three cars.
There is queuing traffic between Cemetery Road, Wheatley Hill, and the A19 junction as a result of recovery work.
It is believed that a Ford Transit van was towing another van on the road, when it broke free and collided with a Jaguar, Vauxhall Corsa and a Renault.
Police are currently at the scene dealing with the damaged vehicles.
Nobody has been injured, however, an ambulance was dispatched to teh scene to check over those involved.
