Hartlepool United recall winger from Hebburn Town loan as National League North move agreed
Hartlepool United youngster Kian Foreman has agreed a loan move to National League North neighbours Spennymoor Town.
Hartlepool United have recalled young winger Kian Foreman from a loan spell with Northern Premier League Premier Division leaders Hebburn Town after another temporary switch to National League North side Spennymoor Town was agreed.
The 18-year-old initially joined the Hornets on a one-month loan in November as he joined fellow Pools youngster Campbell Darcy at the Trustmark Group Stadium and he has gone on to scored three goals in 18 appearances for Daniel Moore’s side as they push for what would be a historic first ever promotion into non-league football’s second tier.
A statement released on the Hornets website on Tuesday afternoon read: “Hebburn Town can confirm that Kian Foreman has been recalled by his parent club, Hartlepool United with immediate effect. The 18-year-old winger arrived at the Hornets in January, making 18 appearances and scoring three goals. Most memorable of which was the superb solo effort against Whitby that secured the January Goal of the Month award. The Club are delighted with the contribution Kian has made during his spell here, and we wish him all the very best in the future. Good Luck, Kian!”
Whether Hebburn secure promotion into the National League North remains to be seen as they look to see of the challenge of Hednesford Town, FC United of Manchester and Warrington Rylands to secure the NPL Premier Division title over the coming weeks and months. However, Foreman will progress into step two after Pools confirmed the youngster will spend the rest of the season working under former Pools duo Tommy Miller and Matty Dolan at Spennymoor.
Foreman could make his Moors debut in Tuesday night’s visit to Southport if FA and National League clearance is received. However, the youngster may have to wait until Saturday’s long trip to Merthyr Town to make his Spenny bow is the green light is not given in time.
