The online tournament was set-up by Leyton Orient's media team after the regular football season was suspended due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Boro’s representative, professional FIFA player Danny Taylor, is one of the favourites to win the competition but has been tested in the early rounds.

After a 5-4 win over Walsall in the second round, Taylor drew 2-2 with Central Coast Mariners’ FIFA player Jesse Da Silva on Saturday morning.

That meant the match went to a replay, which Taylor won 1-0 courtesy of an early goal from Britt Assombalonga.

Taylor tweeted after the match: “Far from pretty I know, but anyone who’s experienced it will tell you that playing an Aussie from Europe isn’t much fun at all. Unlucky @JesseD1996 and@CCMariners, they deserved at least another rematch from that second leg #UltimateQuaranTeam.”
